The Campaign (2012) review

Release date: 28/9/2012 | Directed by: Jay Roach | Warner Bros Distributors Ltd

Cam Brady [Will Ferrel], a politics and fame obsessed character now has Marty Huggins [Zach Galifianakis] to answer to.

Marty is a camp family and pug loving character who is the least likely candidate running for congressman. To make Marty more likely to win he undergoes many changes such as getting rid of his pugs for 'more American' dogs and changing the look his wife has to make her more appealing and like a political leaders wife. He also has to change his camp and what I think is cute voice to a more manly tone so he seems stronger when speaking publicly.

Both in the end turn out to be up for doing anything to win, involving punching a baby and making a sex tape.

I am somebody with no interest in politics, but this film was so funny. It takes political campaigns to the extreme.

I am giving this four crying punched in the face babies out of five.
